FAQ's 1
Do I need to be very
fit or a strong swimmer?
No you don't, (You should see some of us!) If you can swim 8 lengths
of a standard swimming pool (in your own time) duck dive a few times & tread
water for 1 Min. then your fit enough :-)
When does your next course start?
We generally train on Sunday afternoons during the winter months
with courses starting in Sept. & Jan. but please feel free to
contact us at any time, we may be able to fit you in!
How do I start a SCUBA course?
Email me "John" on

I
wear glasses or contact lenses, can I still dive?
Yes! There are 2 options, you can wear contact lenses (I use
daily disposable) or have prescription lenses fitted to your mask.
Who do I contact about Try-a-Dives, vouchers & snorkelling?
Me "John" on
info@StourportDivers.com,
I will answer any questions and pass your details onto the relevant
committee member to deal with.
Do I need to come every week?
While we like to see some dedication to complete the basic training
in 10 weeks the program is
flexible to work around your availability & ability to master the
skills.
Do you provide kit while I learn?
We lend you scuba equipment free of charge while you are going
through the basic pool training
but we may advise you to buy your own mask, fins & snorkel
